We present a mackerel that is different from all the others that you will find on the market: we have called it Selezione Imperiale (Imperial Selection)
and it is a product that was not there… until now.
We have retrieved from our archives a package from the past and a recipe that our ancestors wisely called IMPERIAL.
It was from this discovery that the idea was born to revive such an important name and product of our long history, but in a modern key, adding Selection, because for us the search for the best raw material is a founding pillar of the values in which we believe and to which we are committed every day and so for more than a hundred years.

We sail the seas on our fishing boats in search of a special fish, in order to obtain larger and tastier mackerel fillets, which we process entirely by hand at the fishing site.
The Imperial Selection Mackerel Fillets are two very juicy fillets at 110 grams, while the tins on the market today are four fillets, averaging just 90 grams. The size changes and so does the taste, which is much more intense and authentic, like that of yesteryear, so that you can appreciate it even on a special evening with friends or, more simply, when you feel like treating yourself.

In olive oil, they are two compact, uniform and delicate whole fillets, ideal on their own, in salads, to accompany grilled vegetables or to prepare a last-minute sauce. In the grilled variant, the unmistakable flavour of grilled blue fish stands out for a tasty and balanced second course. A product that is suitable for appetising dishes, but also quick to prepare.
